IES Labor Services
IES Labor Services is a self sustaining social business that uses temporary employment to advance the lives of homeless and near homeless workers. It’s main point of differentiation is the Hope Fund. While workers are paid the same wage they would make at a typical for profit labor agency, if they come to work, do a good job, and remain drug free, IES adds their profit on top. Their mission is two fold: First, to invest in low income workers, but second, by investing in workers that want to get ahead in life they create a better service for customers.

The Bee Cause
It is important for people, especially our youth, to understand the vital role of the honey bee, and how protecting them is of utmost importance. The Bee Cause has made its mission to protect the honey bee and preserve the art of beekeeping where beekeeper and bee have a symbiotic relationship that sustains their mutual well-being, and the welfare of nature and humans.
It is for this purpose that The Bee Cause was formed and whose first ambition is to put hives in 1,000 schools in the Greater Charleston Area.

The Green Heart Project
The Green Heart Project is 501©3 non-profit and community-supported volunteer organization that pairs local volunteers with urban youth in an effort to teach the knowledge needed for a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, reiterating math & science curriculum in an outdoor classroom setting while instilling the virtues of hard work and success through urban gardening and service learning.

The League of Charleston Theatres is an alliance of theatre organizations created to support, advocate and promote Charleston’s theatre industry both locally and nationally. The mission of the League is to promote awareness and visibility for live theatre in the Charleston area, and provide services that strengthen the operations of both the member theatres and performing arts organizations in general. The League will serve as a forum for its members to address common concerns and as a vehicle for collective action.
