LLF is shaking up Small Business Saturday and taking it to a local level! We encourage you to support these businesses that support the local movement during this all-day shopping event on November 30. These gracious businesses are donating at least 5% of the day's sales back to LLF—the only nonprofit that advocates for local-independent businesses! So get out and SHOP LOCAL SATURDAY and support these local participating businesses!
Currently in its seventh year, the goal of Lowcountry Local First’s Buy Local Month is to educate the public and shift consumer spending, keeping holiday dollars flowing within our local economy. Recent studies show that more people in the Charleston area know the importance of buying local, however they need help identifying locally owned businesses. LLF’s Buy Local Month is a grassroots movement of education and relationship building that promotes the many economic and societal benefits of supporting local businesses. During Buy Local Month, LLF offers several promotional opportunities to showcase the great work local businesses are doing for their community, and works to steer consumers to these businesses at the height of the holiday shopping season.
Thanks to these businesses for their support of Buy Local Month 2013!
