Gift Grace to a Local Business
Running a local business is hard. It’s even harder during a pandemic, labor shortage crisis and broken supply chain.
During the last 18 months, nearly 200 local businesses could not prioritize renewing their membership with Lowcountry Local First (LLF). Every line item on their budget that isn’t absolutely crucial to keeping lights on and doors open remains omitted. You can help bring them back into the Local-Loving community and enable them to benefit from the engagement, direct support and extra visibility that a membership with LLF brings with it. Your contribution provides one less thing for our busy local business owners to worry about. You can provide them a year-long gift of community and connection that keeps on giving.
We have a goal to raise $40,000 by the end of 2021, which would enable us to reactivate more than 200 local business’ year-long memberships. Thanks to a $20,000 match gift from a generous donor, every dollar you contribute will be doubled.
Watch this short video to hear why Patrick Wolfe, owner of Gold Creations jewelry store in downtown Charleston was one of those business owners who could not renew his membership with LLF in 2020, but is now able to do so and support other local businesses who need the lift:
