Butcher & Bee
Butcher & Bee opened in Charleston in 2011 with the mission of serving honest-to-goodness sandwiches made with flavor combinations and food quality usually reserved for fine dining. That dream has grown beyond sandwiches to all types of foods. And we bring them to you from local farmers who produce spectacular flavors. Supporting local and sustainable is not a slogan. It’s the right thing to do, and the food tastes better for it.
Having outgrown it’s original space, in 2016 Butcher & Bee moved to a bigger location on Morrison Drive, offering more meal periods, a larger, more diverse menu, beer, wine and cocktails, and reservations. All bread is baked in house by pastry chef and baker Cynthia Wong and the expanded menu from Chelsey Conrad offers more Middle Eastern flavors using ingredients from local farms and purveyors, desserts and pastries, and a wine list focused on biodynamic and organic wines from small producers.
