Lowcountry Regional Farm Tour
SC New and Beginning Farmer Program Regional Farm Tour

Hop aboard a chartered bus for a guided tour of 4 Lowcountry area farms to learn more about their operations and business practices.

Wednesday, June 28, 2017
8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; bus leaves promptly at 9 a.m.

Cost: $15 (includes lunch and transportation)
Free for SC New and Beginning Farmer Program participants.
Registration closes June 27 at 5 p.m. 

Farms include:

  • Sea Island Jerseys on Wadmalaw Island: Raw whole milk, grass fed and finished Jersey beef
  • Storey Farms on Johns Island: Free range chicken eggs and poultry
  • Spade and Clover Gardens on Johns Island: Specialty vegetable crops with a focus on Southeast Asian varietals (ginger, tumeric, galangal)
  • Ambrose Family Farm on Johns Island: Specialty vegetable and fruit crops, U-pick, and agritourism
