The 13th annual Buy Local Season (October - December) is Lowcountry Local First's grassroots movement to build awareness for the positive community benefits of supporting local, independent businesses—particularly during the holiday season.
We encourage citizens and visitors to look for the hundreds of Certified Local decals on storefronts around the community, and to utilize our Business Directory as an online destination to browse hundreds of local businesses for unique gifts and experiences this season.

Conscious Consumer Pledge
LLF encourages citizens to sign the Conscious Consumer Pledge and commit to the many ways you plan to be intentional with your holiday spending. Download our shareable graphic here and share to your social media channels to spread the Buy Local Season Conscious Consumer message! All who sign the pledge will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from The Paper Canopy!
Pop-Up Palooza!
This year we're "popping up" all over town to spread the Shop Small, Y'all! message. We've thoughtfully matched local brands and your favorite boutiques to create unique shopping experiences throughout the season. Let's mingle, shop and sip together at the final Local Social of the year celebrating Buy Local Season. We'll be sharing key ways you can shift your spending to local businesses as you shop, dine, and treat yourself this holiday season. Location and date TBD.
Pop-Up Palooza Presented by Gold Creations at the Francis Marion Hotel
Join us for a standout event in our Pop-Up Palooza series, presented by Gold Creations at the iconic Francis Marion Hotel, as it celebrates its 100th birthday. This exclusive pop-up will feature five remarkable local brands, displayed in the elegant lobby of the hotel for an elevated shopping experience.

Celebrate the spirit of the season and head downtown to watch us march in the City of Charleston Holiday Parade! We'll be handing out Buy Local Postcards and candy canes to all of the jolly revelers.

Meet the Makers at the Holy City Holiday Market
Jingle on down to Old Park Circle to shop 250+ vendors across Holy City Brewing, Firefly Distillery and The Station Park Circle. We'll be handing out Buy Local tote bags and showcasing graduates from Good Enterprises' Community Business Academy. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public to attend.
