Hosted by Sarah Nell-Rodriguez from Be Data Lit

In 2013, Sarah Nell-Rodriguez experienced a layoff after nearly nine years at her job, prompting her to recognize the necessity of proactive career management. Despite her contributions and cost-saving initiatives, she realized the intrinsic insecurity of employment. Determined to take control, Sarah shifted her approach, viewing career navigation as a critical skill. By 2023, she had progressed from a Data Analyst to a Director of Customer Education in the tech industry, achieving significant salary growth without a formal degree. Drawing from her experiences, she now advocates for proactive career strategies, emphasizing the importance of attentiveness to data in guiding professional trajectories.
