Local Retailer Meetup: Talk & Tour at Closet Case

Hey local retailers - we should hang out.

June is pride month and we know that many (most? all?) of our retail members already have detailed plans for celebrating. This month Lowcountry Local First is teaming up with We Are Family to help retailers think about making their spaces and messaging welcoming and inclusive all year round. We'll also learn about great ways to partner with and support the life-affirming and life-saving programs for LGBTQ+ young people that We Are Family offers our community. 

Local member and nonprofit We Are Family operates Closet Case Thrift, the only LGBT owned and operated thrift store in South Carolina. We encourage you to bring a bag from your closet to contribute & then stay to shop their "thrift-ique" (curated thrift store)!
