Localists are some of our most avid and vocal individual supporters. They accept responsibility for the wonderful place we call home. They recognize that our choices make it great and without our efforts – together, as friends and neighbors – it won’t be that way forever.

Localists might not own a local business, but are supporters of the movement because they love the place they live and want to help their community thrive. Their $50 annual investment supports our advocacy initiatives for independent, locally-owned businesses. Without their dedication and pride for this place we call home, we at Lowcountry Local First couldn’t fulfill our vision.

For that reason, and countless others, we’re polishing up our Localist program and giving our members a little extra shine. Our team has been diligently formatting different ways to show our appreciation. In the near future expect to hear about new events, contests, discounts and social media spotlights solely for our Localists.

So if you’ve been procrastinating on becoming a Localist, now is the time to join, because we’re just getting this party started!

P.S. Are you currently a Community Member with the organization? Have no fear. You’ll automatically be converted to this new Localist category and receive notice in the mail with details.
