As a division of the SC Technical College System, Apprenticeship Carolina allows employers to create an apprenticeship program at no cost. The program assists in the fields of IT, manufacturing, hospitality, culinary, logistics, construction, and healthcare.
Helping to bridge the gap between job training and placement for Charleston’s hospitality community, Bread & Butter screens and places qualified hospitality workers in positions throughout Charleston.
The Growing New Farmers Program provides training in farm production and business planning. The program offers apprenticeship placement with a mentor farmer or food system business mentors and a certificate in Sustainable Agriculture.
One80 Place ends and prevent homelessness through job training services. The organization offers a five week culinary training program for veterans and homeless residents of One80 Place.
Palmetto Training provides training and certification in the manufacturing and construction fields. The school offers free job placement assistance to all of their graduates.

The SC Works Online Services System links all of South Carolina’s state and local workforce services and resources to provide a large workforce development database to employers. The database can used to post positions, search for candidates, and review job market trends throughout South Carolina.

The South Carolina Business One Stop exists as a free online source for existing and emerging businesses. SCBOS is a government-provided bridge between businesses and South Carolina State Agencies that can provide assistance in starting, running, expanding, or relocating a business. The SCBOS website provides a single portal that can help businesses meet state requirements for registration, licensing, permitting, and filing reports and returns.

The Greater Charleston Restaurant Association hosts hospitality industry job fairs that are open to the public and free to all. The fair is hosted by Members of the Charleston Area Hospitality Association (CAHA) and the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association (GCRA) and aims to connect employers to residents that live in the neighborhood.
